Hello! My name is Rebecca Hilburn. I’m currently a senior business major with an emphasis in management at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha (chik-uh-shey), Oklahoma. When I’m not in classes, I work part-time as the Administrative Assistant in the Communications & Marketing office. When I’m not working, I’m running with the USAO cross country team. Once I graduate in December of this year, I plan to pursue a career in Sports Marketing and work for a professional sports team.
I was one of the odd ones out in this class, being a business major. My love for books might be a bit different from a history or English major’s, but I learned so much from this class. I’m now able to view books in a different light and am interested in finding out about different books’ stories. I also took on this project as a solo member for my university and through that, I found a lot of strength and perseverance I had hidden away. I’m looking forward to sharing my project with the public and hopefully shedding some light on our small, but amazing campus here in Oklahoma, as well as other Oklahoma universities.
